Macart partners with Memjet

Under the partnership, Macart has launched the Jetart Mini label inkjet printer using Memjet printhead technology.

Atul Gandhi, director at Macart said: ‘Memjet is the only company in the world to manufacturer an 8.5in single printhead with five channels. This printhead gave the best possible features for the label printer. It is thus the right choice for Jetart Mini.’

Jetart Mini label printer is suited for high speed high resolution print on demand labels on various media types with capabilities to change the content on the fly. This includes applications such as pressure sensitive labels, retail tags, barcoding, documents and many other applications. The printhead from Memjet gives high resolution of 1600 x 1600 DPI at 1.1pl drop size. It uses waterfall technology to jet ink on the page via more than 70,000 ink nozzles, enabling vivid color printing as fast as 18m/min. The printer runs at a speed of 18m/min.

‘It prints exactly what you want without any wastage. Its vertical design gives you a smaller footprint,’ said Gandhi.
