Avery Dennsion expands conformable films offering

The Fasson Roll North America division of Avery Dennison Corporation has increased its conformable film offering. ‘Converters can achieve exceptional on-press results, while increasing brand image and eye appeal at the store shelf with the introduction of cost-competitive Fasson 3.0 Mil MDO and Global Co-Ex Films,’ said the company in a statement.
Engineered for compound curves and full squeeze applications, Fasson 3.0 Mil MDO products provide ‘excellent print performance without an added topcoat’. Available in white or matte clear, these MDO (machine direction oriented) polyolefin films are designed for water flexo, UV flexo, UV rotary screen and solvent-based print methods, as well as hot stamp and cold foiling. Recommended for HDPE, LDPE and PP containers and suitable for no-label-look applications where an on container, matte appearance is desired.
For less demanding squeeze performance requirements, Fasson Global Co-Ex films offer a cost-effective solution in both topcoated and non-topcoated options. Available in white or clear, the topcoated version reportedly provides ‘superior’ print surface and ink anchorage, while the non-topcoated products offer excellent print performance when corona treated on press.
