Grafikontrol adds Procheck as part of TQC-360° introduction

Grafikontrol has revamped its offering based on the Total Quality Control 360° (TQC-360°) system, a modular platform developed to provide printers with an overarching option that guarantees quality.

Procheck allows waste to be pinpointed, and printing and lamination defects to be traced from start to finish during the printing process

With TQC-360°, Grafikontrol said it is able to offer a complete range of options that cover every aspect of the printing and converting process, from production and applications, to processes and services.

A new feature in TQC-360°is Procheck, which allows waste to be pinpointed, and printing and lamination defects to be traced from start to finish during the printing process. According to Grafikontrol, Procheck, which is currently awaiting its patent, is the most advanced and exclusive system for eliminating waste, and rounds out Grafikontrol's system monitoring services, which also include Matrix, Lynex and Chromalab.

The introduction of TQC-360° follows positive performance in 2015 by Grafikontrol, which ended the year up eight percent compared to 2014. Paolo De Grandis, Grafikontrol sales director and shareholder, said: ‘Last year we strengthened our relationship with printer manufacturers in particular. Orders are up 15 percent in that sector.

‘The release of the new TQC-360° range of products has been met with enthusiasm by our clients. Procheck in particular has received a great deal of interest as it constitutes the long-awaited missing link in waste management.’

As well as sales to printer manufacturers, Grafikontrol's presence in other markets is managed by vendors and agents across Europe, South Africa, Asia, Australia, the US and South America. Grafikontrol increased its presence in the US in 2015 by opening an office in Pennsylvania, and appointing a general manager, Mauro Consalvi, to manage sales of flexible packaging, labels and printable cardboard and paper throughout the whole of North America.

‘We are intent on increasing Grafikontrol's presence in other countries,’ continued De Grandis. ‘We have worked with our network of agents to widen distribution, and we have closed deals in Indonesia and Iran, countries in which we previously had no success. Our new services based on TQC-360° mean there is now the possibility of expanding into new markets in the future.;

Grafikontrol's Milan offices are also being upgraded, and from March, the demo area will be kitted out with a printing simulator that will set up Grafikontrol's monitoring systems. Clients will be able to take part in demonstrations and carry out tests using their own materials.
