MAXStick Products, a global supplier of direct thermal, liner-free, removable adhesive labels, and Star Micronics have partnered for mobile printing technology said to benefit retailers and restaurateurs.
This sees Star Micronics’ new SM-L300 receipt and label mobile printer designed and certified for MAXStick liner-free label rolls. SM-L300 is compatible with the complete line of MAXStick liner-free labels, and can use 40-80mm width MAXStick media. The printer is equipped with a de-curl function and Bluetooth low energy technology, and is compatible with Windows, Android and iOS operating systems, including Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. When connected via Bluetooth, multiple devices can be connected to the printer at the same time.
Christophe Naasz, director of business development at Star Micronics, said: ‘At Star Micronics, we make it our goal to design user-friendly printer peripherals that suit our customers’ needs. Partnering with MAXStick Products allows us to provide solutions for not only receipts, but for label printing needs as well.
‘Pairing our new SM-L300 portable printer with MAXStick liner-free labels provides ultimate convenience for retailers and restaurateurs alike.’
SM-L300 is the second printer certified by Star Micronics for use with MAXStick liner-free labels, and follows the TSP-654SK desktop model.
