Troika Systems launches ink proofing anilox holder
Troika Systems has developed a new Ink Proofing Anilox Holder, designed in response to demand for holders to streamline the taking of measurements during ink and substrate testing.
The company stated that such testing is an important part of ensuring press set-up time is minimized. Consequently, it is important to know the proofer aniloxes used in ink testing equipment are clean and are within a practical tolerance of the desired volume if correct ink setup is to be achieved.
Troika has been asked to make holders to carry these small aniloxes so that the measurements can be made easily, with the result being holders for a variety of proofer aniloxes, including those supplied by IGT from the Netherlands and RK PrintCoat in the UK.
The holder comes in two parts, with the main body supporting larger test aniloxes and a separate holder supporting smaller aniloxes used in handheld test units.
