French synthetic paper specialist Arjobex has appointed Sim Bean Low as director of business development for the Asia-Pacific region.

Low is joining the team after serving as director of specials for Asia-Pacific at UPM Raflatac. She held many leading roles in UPM Raflatac in the past 13 years, including product management, quality assurance, product development, sales management, creation and implementation of business strategy in Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific regions.

Before UPM Raflatac, and upon graduation from university, Low started as a polymer chemist in a PP film manufacturing firm in Malaysia, Stenta Films, where she led PP film development activities serving various end-uses such as food, beverage, and cigarette outer wraps.
