Fedrigoni has brought Rodrigo Lacerda to lead the self-adhesives business unit, taking over from Fulvio Capussotti, who will now assume the role of executive vice president of RFID, innovation and chief sustainability officer, after nearly five years as the head of the self-adhesive division. Both leaders will report to CEO Marco Nespolo.

Before joining Fedrigoni, Lacerda held the position of senior vice president global head of construction and consumer business at Bostik, a global player in sealing and bonding technologies.

He has extensive industry expertise across different continents and businesses. At Bostik, he raised the construction and consumer business to over USD 1.3 billion in sales, with a presence of 40 plants worldwide. Prior to that, he spent over 18 years at Parex group, a global firm in the construction sector, as senior vice president for the Americas and EMEA and as a management board member.

‘With Lacerda's entry, our executive team is further strengthened with a new member bringing 30 years of international experience to support the next chapter of the self-adhesives business growth, where we intend to keep expanding our global footprint and leading position,’ commented Marco Nespolo, CEO of Fedrigoni.

‘On the other hand, Capussotti will take on a new threefold challenge: to accelerate our growth in RFID, to lead ESG and energy transition strategy and to drive the newly created group innovation function. The innovation function is aimed at scouting for innovative solutions and technologies and establishing new collaborations with start-ups, innovation centers, research institutes and other players across our value chains,’ concluded Nespolo.
