Inland Packaging appoints new chief operating officer

Former vice president of sales and marketing, Scott Roob, steps into new role.

Inland Packaging, a third-generation family-owned label and packaging manufacturer, has appointed its former vice president Scott Roob to a new role of chief operating officer.

His decades of experience and proven leadership Roob will be a driving force behind the company’s operational success.

‘This announcement is a testament to Scott’s leadership. I am confident that we will reach new heights in the years to come,’ said Mark Glendenning, Inland Packaging’s president and CEO.

Roob brings over 25 years of extensive experience, not only in the label industry, but at Inland. He began his career with Inland as a label line associate at the company headquarters. In 2007, he joined the sales team and started his journey into leadership.

Under Roob’s leadership, the sales team has continuously evolved to drive business in both new label types and new markets for Inland, while continuing to build partnerships with customers. His impact extends far beyond sales as he has been a mentor to countless colleagues, a champion of change, and an advocate for employee success, recognition and well-being.

‘I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this amazing organization, in such an exciting and fast paced industry. We have come a long way in our 80-year history, but the future is what excites me the most. In moments like this it’s fun to reflect on the relationships, successes, and failures over the years that have made me, and us, who we are. For that, I will be forever grateful,’ commented Roob.
