Amba Multiprint installs Kridwinn LuxarJet

Indian label converter adds UV inkjet embellishment for premium label markets.

Amba Multiprint, a label converter based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, has installed a LuxarJet UV inkjet label embellishment system supplied by Kridwinn Innovations, strengthening its production capabilities for premium labels serving FMCG, cosmetics and pharmaceutical customers.

The LuxarJet is a single-pass digital platform that integrates spot UV varnishing, foiling and in-line lamination into a single system. Running at speeds of up to 40 m/min at resolutions of up to 1,200 DPI, it delivers raised UV textures, metallic foiling effects and high-impact visual finishes with automatic registration control, in-line UV curing and tool-less job changeovers. The platform eliminates the need for plates and dies and supports short-run, on-demand customization without compromising quality.

'We were looking for a platform that could give us a distinctive edge in both digital and flexo printing,' said a representative of Amba Multiprint. 'LuxarJet stood out for its ability to deliver premium embellishment effects with operational efficiency. It allows us to meet urgent, short-run requirements without compromising on quality, which is exactly what our customers nowadays expect from us.'

'There is a clear shift in the market towards value-added printing,' said Dinesh Thakur, director of sales and marketing at Kridwinn Innovations. 'LuxarJet at Amba Multiprint reflects how forward-thinking companies are adopting digital embellishment to stay competitive and profitable.'
