Printed.com has installed a Titanium 330 R Digital Label Cutter and a Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 press at its Cramlington facility, expanding its labels and stickers division through its long-standing partnership with International Graphic Supplies.

The Titanium 330 R is equipped with nine cutting blades working in tandem, delivering a 35 percent increase in production speed over previous models. The system performs cold lamination, digital die-cutting, waste weeding and slitting in a single pass, with specialized slitting knives converting wide-web rolls into finished individual label rolls ready for dispatch. The installation adds to two existing Titanium 2516 large-format flatbed cutters already in operation at the Printed.com facility.

The combination of the AccurioLabel 230 digital press and the Titanium 330 R enables Printed.com to produce complex kiss-cut labels on demand without the delays associated with traditional die-making.

'The short-run label market is incredibly vibrant right now, and the addition of the AccurioLabel 230 and the Titanium 330 R ensures we can deliver the precision, quality and flexibility that today's market demands,' said David Duncan, production director of Printed.com.

'Having seen the success they've achieved with their two existing Titanium 2516 flatbed cutters, it was a natural progression to integrate the Titanium 330 R into their new label department,' said Peter Flynn, managing director of IGS.
