Vinsak refocuses on in-house manufacturing

The group expands production facilities in Mumbai and Barcelona.

Vinsak Group has announced a strategic realignment of its product portfolio to intensify focus on designing and manufacturing its own range of printing and packaging technologies tailored to converter needs worldwide.

The company has added production space at its engineering and assembly center in Mumbai, India and at the Rotatek facility in Barcelona, Spain, forming part of a long-term investment plan to increase production capacity, improve delivery timelines and enable development of next-generation machinery for packaging, labels and finishing applications.

'Our focus moving forward is to deliver machinery shaped directly by the voice of our customers,' stated Ranesh Bajaj, director at Vinsak Group. 'Strengthening our in-house manufacturing capabilities allows us to innovate faster, offer more tailored technology and deliver greater value to the industry.'

The realignment will enable Vinsak to enhance after-sales support, improve service response times and streamline spare parts availability for customers using Vinsak-branded equipment.

Vinsak is investing in research and development with several new machines under development, designed to address global trends including short-run packaging, automation, sustainability and digital integration.

'With key markets in the Middle East and Africa growing rapidly and demanding the right price-performance balance, our enhanced manufacturing focus will be instrumental to sustaining and accelerating our growth in these regions,' commented Malkhan Ram, general manager of Vinsak Middle East.

The company is witnessing demand in Europe, the UK and the Americas for turnkey print and converting capabilities across applications, including IML, shrink sleeves, labels, cartons and pharmaceutical leaflets.
