CSI prepares for growth with appointment

Core Systems International (CSI) has appointed Jackie Wallace as director of procurement and inside sales to help manage growing business.
In her role, Wallace will be responsible for inside sales of spare parts and service, project management and purchasing.
CSI said Wallace has more than 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in material handling and converting. She joins CSI from SSOE, a large engineering firm located in Toledo, Ohio.
CSI has supplied core cutting and core handling equipment for over two decades, and is the largest manufacturer of both mandrel based and surface driven core cutters in North America.
Cores are produced in “parent core” lengths. Cores normally need to be re-cut to lengths that match the slit widths of the end user. Re-cutting can be done by the core vendor, although CSI advises that it is more beneficial to cut cores just prior to the end use, with cleanliness, humidity and transportation primary factors that will alter the condition or the cut size of the cores.
