Fedrigoni Group appoints CCO of paper division

Fedrigoni Group has appointed Ilan Schinazi as chief commercial officer of the paper and security business unit, as it continues to invest in its paper division after several executives joined the group in recent months.

Before joining Fedrigoni, Schinazi was managing director and partner at Salinas International, managing director for packaging development at Diam Pack, and chief executive officer at Cosfibel Premium, a company specializing in innovative packaging in the luxury industry. He was also vice president for sales and marketing at Arjowiggins for 19 years.

‘In addition to his strong international background, Schinazi brings many years of experience in the paper sector, in particular in luxury packaging, as well as an understanding of the plastic-to-paper trend, which will gradually see paper replacing plastic in all its uses,’ said the company in a statement.
