Fischer, a founder of Germany’s Green Party, currently sits on the board of trustees of the International Crisis Group and the executive board of the European Council on Foreign Relations.

A consultant on management strategy, Finat said his name is 'synonymous with reasoned and hard-hitting appraisal' of the political and business landscape in Europe and beyond.

ELF is to take place on June 7-9 in Berlin, Germany and will bring together a broad spectrum of supply chain participants, from raw material suppliers to end users, to debate current major strategic business topics and gain in-depth wide-spectrum market knowledge from the formal speaker agenda, which is strongly focused on managing today’s evolutionary status and tomorrow’s possibilities.

Closing ELF 2017, Fischer’s contribution will, according to Finat president Thomas Hagmaier, ‘enable our business leaders to benefit from an assessment of opportunities and challenges in Europe – and beyond – in a much broader context than just the label sector.

‘The packaging industry as a whole is now the subject of extensive outside influences and legislation, including the “fourth industrial revolution” and technology innovation; we are looking forward with much anticipation to Joschka Fischer’s thoughts and predictions for the future of world business.’
