Gravure conference returns to Ukraine

The event is the autumn conference of the European Rotogravure Association, and this year will discuss the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine, which came into force earlier this year, and its consequences and possible advantages for the country.

Besides this, the conference will cover items such as the Ukrainian market for package printing, and technological developments in the field of packaging and decorative gravure, such as digital printing and its complementary possibilities for the gravure printers. The conference will be rounded off on the second day with a visit to the plant of ERA member company Ukrplastic, which is one of the largest packaging printers in Eastern Europe.  

The ERA Packaging Conference 2005 was held in Kiev following the Orange Revolution, which led to an opening of the former Soviet Republic towards democracy and a closer cooperation with Europe.
