Label and package printing industry presents latest products to the Middle East market
Gulf Print & Pack 2015 has closed its doors after a successful first day, with suppliers from across the label and package printing value chain present across the halls.

From those with a direct presence, such as Nilpeter, Heidelberg, UPM Raflatac, Innovia Films, Toyo Ink and Sistrade, to well-known regional agents such as XOL Automation, Printech, Afra, Green Graphics Trading, Ali Alhasemi, Giffin Graphics and Anoop Plastic Products, there was an overwhelmingly strong reaction from the show floor to the first day.
While official figures are yet to be announced, the registration desks and the show floor were busy throughout the day. Sistrade managing director Paulo Souto said he felt the first day of the show was definitely busier when compared to the same day of the previous edition in 2013, while UPM Raflatac said it felt that there was a large presence from Saudi Arabia, a key market in the region’s print and packaging industry.
Those with new products to show, such Green Graphics Trading with the Kiaro! desktop inkjet color label press from QuickLabel Systems and Heidelberg with the Linoprint CV/CP presses, were particularly busy throughout the day, while visitors were drawn to the D2M Solutions stand and its showcase of 3D design through to manufacture, including Stratasys 3D printing technology.

Gulf Print & Pack 2015 is open for the next three days, with the halls re-opening on day two (April 14) at 10am GST.
