WorldStar Packaging Awards 2015 open for entries

The World Packaging Organization (WPO) has opened the window for entries to the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2015, with the deadline for entries falling on October 10.

Packages eligible for a WorldStar award are those that have already received a national award recognized by WPO.

Judging will take place on November 19 in Sri Lanka, with the awards to be presented at an event in Milan, Italy during May next year.

‘We encourage every WPO member across the globe to help us promote the biggest and most important global packaging award,’ said Thomas Schneider, WPO president.

‘In its 46thyear, WorldStar is one of the major events of WPO and last year attracted 249 entries from 35 countries around the world. The aim, for our next competition, is to increase the number of entries and countries participating.’
