Brotech debuts AI-powered FF-X530 and other finishing machines. The FF-X530 is an AI-powered, 8-color flexographic press. Unlike traditional flexo presses that rely heavily on operator expertise, the FF-X530 applies artificial intelligence and an advanced color and quality control system. The system continuously monitors critical variables —ink viscosity, temperature, substrate variations, and environmental conditions —and makes real-time adjustments to deliver unmatched color consistency, significantly reduce setup time, and minimize material waste and downtime. It features integrated AVT and X-Rite technologies.
Also on display is the SDF Plus 370, a smart modular digital label finishing system built for maximum flexibility. Its patented intermittent flexo unit enables quick switching between intermittent and rotary modes, with 330/370/420/520 size options and bidirectional workflow for optimal adaptability. It supports add-ons such as lamination, standard cold foil, 90-degree turning hot foil stamping (max 45 tons), screen/digital embellishment, plus semi-rotary, flatbed, or laser die-cutting.
The company also showcases CDF Plus, an all-in-one digital label converting machine that integrates full rotary flexo, spot/gloss varnish, cold foiling, wet/dry lamination, semi-rotary die-cutting, and slitting in a compact design.
