Standard Register, a provider of document and print management services, has ranked sixth on the 2007 InformationWeek 500. This is Standard Register’s first year in the top 10 and it is one of few companies to appear in the top 100 five years in a row. The company has appeared on the list during the last eight years and placed first among manufacturing firms this year.

‘InformationWeek has identified and honored the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual listing for nearly 20 years,’ a spokesperson said. ‘The list is unique among corporate rankings because it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders. Standard Register placed in the top 10 this year due to its investments and achievements toward helping customers improve productivity, as well as results that increased the company’s own efficiency. In its application for the award, SR also described its unique client reporting tool that is used as a means for improving service and clarifying goals, in addition to reviewing results.’

Standard Register also collaborates with leading technology companies such as HP for products, services and thought leadership. ‘Standard Register has a demonstrated track record of success in leveraging technology to drive innovation within its own business and for its clients,’ said Patterson Hicks, Microsoft account executive. ‘Microsoft is proud of its on-going relationship with Standard Register and we look forward to continuing our role as a strategic provider to SR.’
