Edale to host Open House and mini expo

UK press specialist Edale is to stage a special Open House event and table-top supplier exhibition to mark the official opening of its second unit.
 
Existing and potential customers are invited to visit its Hampshire location on February 8 to celebrate the official opening of its second unit, added due to increased business, which will be presided over by the local Mayor and Mayoress of Fareham.
 
In addition, Edale has invited 15 of its key suppliers to partake in a table-top exhibition, including Alphasonics, API Foils, Creation Reprographics, Cheshire Engraving, Daco Solutions, EskoArtwork, Fiberweb, GEW, Herma, JM Heafords, IST, Rotometrics, Tesa Tapes, Vetaphone and Zeller & Gmellin. The BPIF will also have a presence at the event.
 
A further series of presentations will take place throughout the day from companies presenting new technologies in the marketplace and there will be a presentation hosted by guest speaker John Bambery, chairman of BPIF Labels.
 
Edale itself will demonstrate its new FL-350 press, designed for the printing of flexible packaging film and ticketing substrates. There will also be a Gamma scratch card line and an FDC-510 flatbed die cutting machine, which is used for the cutting and creasing of packaging materials. Further machines, being finalized in Edale’s production department, will be available for viewing: three Beta modular presses and two Alpha compact flexo presses.
 
Customers of all of the suppliers, as well as Edale, will be invited to tour the company’s factory, showroom and offices and assist in live demos. The open day will make up one day of the distributors training schedule and will see distributors increase their knowledge on not only Edale products but also those of its suppliers.
