Brausse to expand sales and service network

- Bobst Group acquired majority stake in entry-level firm nearly 2 years ago
- Target to have Brausse worldwide sales and service network by year-end
Brausse is to extend its sales and service operations in an effort to capitalize on the potential for stand-alone, entry-level finishing and converting systems.
Brausse manufactures a range of die cutting, folding and gluing, hot-foil stamping and hand-fed platen systems, which are described as offering “the best price/performance ratio”.
Bobst Group acquired a majority share in Gordon Ltd, the holding company of Shanghai Eternal Machinery Company Ltd, and manufacturer of Brausse and Eterna product lines.
The Bobst and Brausse/Eterna brands have continued to develop separately in the 20 months since the deal was agreed, serving different markets.
Global representation
Brausse is not currently represented in every geographical market, but the company is now working to develop a full network of sales and service teams across the world.
Emilio Corti, head of sales for the Bobst sheet-fed business unit, said: ‘Brausse is in the process of developing a number of new machinery solutions that will further enhance its position of importance in the entry-level segment of the worldwide market, and this will be supported by a larger sales and service network.
‘The target is to have an appropriate worldwide network for Brausse by the end of this year so that they can fully exploit the huge potential of their entry-level equipment.
‘Brausse has achieved very good sales this year, and had a very good Drupa, where the company had its own stand. The aim is to make sure that the Brausse flag is flying in every country.’
