Comexi Group continues growth into Turkey

The two-day event, which involved the collaboration of country representative Mensad International Trading Co., gathered more than 90 people representing 42 companies linked to the converting industry in Turkey.

The first day of the event was focused on printing, and addressed technical aspects of the different technologies offered by Comexi. On the second day, the presentations were focused on lamination, slitting and peripherals. It also covered holography and in-line laser processes on slitting machinery as a way to improve the finish of packaging.

Sun Chemical and Morchem also collaborated with the seminar and covered inks and lamination adhesives respectively.

Comexi began its collaboration Mensad International Trading Co. in November 2012. A year and a half after the first promotional trip, the two companies have consolidated the sale of 10 machines for the flexible packaging industry in the Turkish market.

It is also working on numerous other projects, and said it receives continuous visits by Turkish converters to its plant in Riudellots de la Selva, Girona.
