- 11-day duration will provide greater focus
- Heidelberg in KBA and Presstek in welcoming news
Heidelberg is the latest to welcome the decision by the Drupa committee to maintain the show’s four-year cycle, but reduce its duration to 11 days.
Both Koenig & Bauer (KBA) and Presstek have welcomed the decisions made at the recent constitutive session of the Drupa committee.
Heidelberg occupied the whole of hall 1 at Drupa 2012, with an impressive array of machinery for various printing industries, including package printing, finishing and converting.
Adriana M. Nuneva, senior vice president of global marketing and communications at Heidelberg, said: ‘We see that Drupa will keep its international industry leading character and we appreciate the decision of the Drupa committee to retain the four-year cycle.
‘What’s more, the abbreviation to 11 days will even provide a greater focus on the show.’
