Heidelberg UK reports strong sales in run-up to Drupa

Drupa is not having its customary effect of depressing sales according to Heidelberg UK, with more than 100 press units due for installation before the May expo. 

There are three Speedmaster SM 52 Anicolor presses on order, and four Ricoh C 751 installations due in March, the company said.

Gerard Heanue (pictured, top), managing director of Heidelberg UK, said: ‘We are seeing an improvement in trading conditions with the accessibility of capital finance.’ 

Heidelberg will launch its new Speedmaster SX series at Drupa, along with 60 new product and service innovations.

Heanue added: ‘We anticipate a large number of visitors from the UK and see interest in all areas – pre-press, litho and digital presses, post-press, consumables and services. Packaging printers of all sizes will find plenty of tips and tricks to attaining improved profitability.’
