Russian converter orders second Rotocontrol machine

Rotocontrol has received an order for a second finishing machine from Taflex, a Russia-based self-adhesive label converter.
Azat Gabidullin, member of the board of JSC Taflex, visited Rotocontrol on the AVT stand during Labelexpo Americas and subsequently placed an order for an RSC slitter rewinder inspection machine. After an on-site visit at the factory for live material demonstrations on their machine, Taflex was impressed with the performance and placed another order for a second, an RSP 440 with vertical vacuum splice table and full re-inspection capability. IMB Group, the recently signed local agent for Rotocontrol in Russia, will provide Taflex with local service and technical support.
‘After witnessing the Rotocontrol RSC machine with an AVT vision system running with my own test materials, I was very impressed with the performance. I would like to have more Rotocontrol machines in my factory,’ said Azat Gabidullin.
‘Russia represents a key market for us,’ said Ralph Beier, Rotocontrol’s international sales manager. ‘Rotocontrol already has presence in Russia with a number of machine installations, and we anticipate further growth now with local customer support and technical service that IMB Group can offer.’
Dmitry Mikhaylov, managing director of IMB Group, commented: ‘Taflex was very pleased with the on-site meeting at Rotocontrol, which is evident in their order of a second machine. This is a positive beginning to a long and successful relationship between IMB Group and Rotocontrol.’
