Prati to feature comprehensive machinery portfolio at Labelexpo Europe 2025

Italian manufacturer to showcase technological advances across multiple product lines.

Prati has unveiled its comprehensive machinery portfolio, prepared for Labelexpo Europe 2025, featuring several finishing systems designed for label and packaging applications at booth 3D23/3E17.

The company's exhibition features the DigiFast20000, configured for high-performance finishing of digitally printed jobs within 760mm web widths and material thicknesses from 12 to 450 microns. The machine operates both near-line and off-line, handling flexible packaging, pouches, sleeves, labels and cartons with processes, including registered white, protective UV or water-based varnish and digital embellishment.

'If the end user wants to highlight their uniqueness and stand out in the market, now they can do so through finishing, adding extra value to their products,' said the company in a statement.

Also on display will be the DigiFastOne converting line, which targets wine and spirits applications, processing materials ranging from 12 to 350 microns in thickness, including self-adhesive labels, clear-on-clear applications, wraparound labels, and shrink sleeves. The system on display will feature a 330mm web width with UV varnishing, semi-rotary hot foil stamping, digital screen printing, semi-rotary die-cutting, and rewinding units.

Prati's Jupiter, which joins the lineup, is a wide modular control table that offers inspection speeds up to 400 m/min and debuts semi-rotary die-cutting capability. The system handles mid-web print runs in a 670mm web width configuration, featuring registered die-cutting, inspection, and SA turret rewinding for pet food and beverage applications.

The company will also promote the DigiCompact system, which addresses roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet, and roll-to-stack finishing requirements for digitally printed adhesive and linerless labels. Its flexo unit enables printing and spot varnishing with low-energy cold UV drying technology.

Additional displays include the Saturn control table in 450mm web width, equipped with camera inspection for FMCG and personal care labels, and the Saturn Next intelligent control system, featuring automated quality control with defect rejection and splicing capabilities.

The Saturn Bidi bidirectional inspection table serves pharmaceutical, cosmetic and security sectors with 100 percent quality control in 450mm web width, incorporating inkjet heads for variable data overprinting.

Prati's off-line production lines, Vega+ and Star+, target logistics and retail sectors, operating on a platform compliant with EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230.
