Garment label production in Chennai

Shore To Shore, Inc. has announced the opening of a newly constructed, 60,000 sq. ft. production facility in India. This plant is located 25 km from the Chennai International Airport and is situated on six acres of land providing additional room for building expansion. The Chennai facility services garment manufacturers in the southern region of India; while the existing New Delhi operation will continue to serve the Northern Indian market.

The new facility is staffed by 275 manufacturing and administrative employees; and offers the full range of printed and woven brand identification products under one roof. This building is four times larger than the existing 15,000 sq. ft. facility, which was also located in Chennai. Shore To Shore India has managed to keep the quick response of a small, local company while maintaining the quality associated with that of a multi-national corporation. Harish Chander, managing director in India, states, ‘We have always shown flexibility in catering to the urgent requests of our local garment manufacturers. The addition of new equipment and employees will allow us to turn around customer orders even faster with added production capacity and staffing.’ The Chennai facility officially opened its doors on June 30, 2003.
