Hammer participates in local community arts project

US converter Hammer Packaging has joined Benches on Parade, a community arts project which is raising money for local not-for-profits.

Hammer sponsored the transformation of their bench, ‘Innovation Station’, with the help of local artist Amie Freling-Brown. Inspiration for the bench design ‘came from Hammer’s consistent commitment to innovation in its industry’, said the company.

Presented by Nazareth College of Rochester, Benches on Parade is a community arts project produced by Dixon Schwabl Advertising that provides local artists and businesses a chance to design public benches displayed across the Greater Rochester area.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Nazareth College Arts Center, the Rochester City Ballet, the New York Wine and Culinary Center and an additional nonprofit of the highest bidder’s choice.  At the end of the summer, the benches will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Hammer Packaging, established in 1912, headquartered in Rochester, NY, is a privately-held multi-color packaging printer with expertise in sheet-fed offset, web offset and flexography.
