A B Graphic International (ABG) has taken a record number of orders for DigiLase 4.0 digital finishing machine in 2020 fueled by the e-commerce boom

Launched in September 2018, ABG has installed numerous DigiLase machines, equipped with various configurations worldwide. Many orders, which include ABG’s automatic workflow and the inkjet digital embellishment module, are currently in production and due for installation in the coming months in Mexico, the USA, the Netherlands, UK, and Germany. According to the company, the growing order book in 2021 can also contribute to ABG’s another record trading year.

DigiLase 4.0 incorporates laser cutting technology, which is suitable for direct from web sticker and label production. A reduced web path and a decrease in the necessary lead-in/out material help to reduce waste. The minimum job length through the DigiLase has been reduced to allow the flexibility for short runs, while the quick download enables several jobs to be processed simultaneously.

‘DigiLase 4.0 is without a doubt the most accurate laser machine currently on the market,’ said Floriana Montella, DigiLase product manager at ABG. ‘One of our customers, custom stickers and labels business, StickerGiant, based in the US, has just placed an order for its sixth DigiLase 4.0 with fully automatic workflow. We have a dedicated technical team comprising laser engineers, software developers, and mechanical designers who support DigiLase 4.0, who constantly work on new developments and upgrades to suit customers’ needs. We are very excited about upcoming releases that we will be announcing shortly, including new options and increased speeds, so watch this space.’

ABG has a DigiLase 4.0 demo machine in its Barcelona showroom, where customers can book a remote demo and send their files to get customized samples.
