Alphasonics USA, based in Richmond, Virginia, and Eaglewood Technologies in Minneapolis, Minnesota, have announced a new strategic partnership, designed to bring the most advanced anilox cleaning technologies to the flexographic printing market.
The strategic agreement between the two pressroom cleaning suppliers sees the addition of the advanced ultrasonic cleaning systems from Alphasonics added to the Eaglewood product range. Alongside their Sitexco laser systems and Sanilox blasting technology, the company wanted to add another technologically advanced method of anilox cleaning to their offerings and identified Alphasonics USA as a partner.
Peter J. Mulheran, VP and general manager of Eaglewood said, ‘Eaglewood identified a need in the market for a technology like Alphasonics’ product offerings. We have been following Alphasonics closely for years and know their ultrasonics are industry leading. This technology will round out Eaglewood’s product portfolio to truly provide a solution for every flexographic printer.’
Eaglewood will offer Alphasonics USA’s range to customers in both North, South and Central America. As part of the deal, Alphasonics have provided a Melanie duo cleaning system, with filtration and roll reversal to Eaglewood’s expanding demonstration center in Minneapolis where customers can visit in person or send aniloxes direct for trials. Eaglewood will also offer comprehensive after-sales training, support and service to their customers through their fully trained engineers and after-care team.
