AWA Global Release Liner scheduled for February

AWA Global Release Liner scheduled for February in Amsterdam

This year's AWA Global Release Liner Industry Conference and Exhibition, taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, will focus on key release liner markets, application areas, opportunities, and growth.

‘Release liner is surely one of the most diverse materials used in production today,’ said Corey Reardon, AWA Alexander Watson Associates’ president and CEO. ‘It’s a component critical to the use and performance of pressure sensitive materials and beyond, in a variety of markets, from advanced electronics to labels, postage stamps, adhesive tapes, and outdoor advertising graphics. This year’s conference program reflects that diversity.’

The opening conference keynote presentation will come from Robyn Buma, vice president, global purchasing, for Avery Dennison. She will address the importance of transparency in material sourcing in value chains. Later, the agenda will address recycled composite materials and include a keynote presentation from circular economy, business development specialist Mike Van Den Hof.

AWA's market data will be central to the program, along with an update on industry M&A and consolidation from Jonathan White of Mazzone & Associates. Panel discussions will bring together top industry executives across the supply chain, delivering more insights. The formal conference agenda is supported by an extensive tabletop exhibition, which also represents the location for valuable networking opportunities for delegates during program breaks.

To meet the market-specific interests of delegates and focus on the voice of the customer, the conference program divides into concurrent sessions over the two days, with a series of presentations by experts in the different market segments.

This year’s conference will take place between 26th and 28th of February, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Event sponsors include Avery Dennison, Elkem, Mondi, and UPM.
