cab is one of the biggest manufacturers of label printing systems in Europe, developing various devices, including technologies for marking individual components, units, products, or packaging.

The company has been focusing on smart systems and components that handle workflows in which embedded processors, sensors and network technology are included and prepared for working in robotized environments. cab printers are therefore integrated into the Xito software provided by Toolify, a startup company based in Southern Germany.

The printers comply with a comprehensive range of modules compatible with the Xito marketplace kit enabling plug-and-play integration for cost-efficient implementation.

‘With the help of XITO, developing individual modules accelerates by up to 30 percent. Robots or applications are implemented up to 95 percent more efficiently,’ said Roman Schnider, head of cab software development.
