Following the success of the solar powered flight around the world, founder Bertrand Piccard and the Solar Impulse Foundation decided to award the Solar Impulse Efficient Solutions designation to 1,000 products or services across the globe that meet high standards of both sustainability and profitability.

To achieve this recognition, Max International Converters and its MaxStick underwent an assessment process performed by independent experts, based on a verified methodology and against several criteria that included technological feasibility, environmental and socioeconomic benefits, and economic profitability.

MaxStick was specifically recognized in two categories: industry innovation and infrastructure, as well as responsible production and consumption.

‘We are honored to have been distinguished with the Solar Impulse Efficient Solutions designation for MaxStick,’ commented Mike Vigunas, president of Max International Converters. ‘SIF’s vision to efficiently, sustainably, and profitably impact the planet resonates fittingly with our mission to position MaxStick as an efficient, sustainable, and a profitable labeling option.

‘Since its creation, Max International has been dedicated to leveraging technology that benefits society and the environment. Leading in production technology is one of the main pillars of MAX International’s corporate strategy. Being committed to reducing the impact on the environment, this leadership does not only apply to high-performance product development, but also to responsible operational production.’
