O’Neill will be joining the Maxcess organization in a new role to expand Maxcess’ vision inspection solutions.

‘I’m thrilled to become part of the Maxcess organization,’ said O’Neill.  ‘The ability to extend OneBox’s vision inspection solutions on a global scale has always been the goal of the company.  With the integrated capabilities of Maxcess, this is now a reality.  I look forward to growing the business with the Maxcess organization.’

According to the company, the addition of vision inspection systems to Maxcess’ end-to-end product offerings will help customers to work better, faster and smarter, increasing productivity for customers in tag and label, packaging, nonwoven, battery and other customer applications.

‘The acquisition of OneBox Vision Ltd allows Maxcess to bring proven technology to a broader global market and large customer base,’ noted Sean Craig, Maxcess’ global vice president of product development and R&D.

He continued: ‘Conor’s experience and expertise will be critical to establish our firm leadership position in vision inspection systems. Our significant investment and commitment to R&D allows us to expand the OneBox solution offering and develop innovations for the vision inspection category, as well as more robust end-to-end solutions for our customers.  These innovations will create an ongoing offering of strong Industry 4.0 solutions for our customers, enabling them to both detect and ultimately correct material defects.’
