PPC Flexible Packaging acquires Target Labels and Packaging

PPC Flexible Packing, a provider of flexographic printing and flexible films, bags and pouches, has acquired North Salt Lake, UT – based Target Labels and Packaging. Target is the seventh acquisition of specialty and differentiated flexible packaging firms by PPC in the past four years.

All businesses have been integrated into the PPC Flexible Packaging ‘One PPC’ enterprise and are executing growth strategies.   
 
Headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, PPC provides cleanroom packaging for healthcare and medical applications, snack and organic brands, specialty produce, pet, nutraceutical, bakery and horticulture.   
 
The firm operates nine manufacturing facilities in Buffalo Grove, IL, Mission, KS, Rome, GA, Payson, UT, Pewaukee WI, Colombia, South America, McKinney, TX, Alliance, OH and North Salt Lake, UT. Its facilities are AIB, SQF and ISO-9001 certified. Founded in 1968, PPC strives to provide high-quality products with best-in-class lead times to service emerging and established brands, the company stated.     
 
Established in 2006 by Jay Jenks, Target Labels and Packaging provides flexographic and digitally printed, laminated and converted packaging labels, rollstock and pouches for nutraceutical, snack, confectionery and specialty consumer markets focused on the western United States.
