HP certifies Michelman's DigiPrime Vision 9200
New PFAS-free label primer certified for in-line use on 6K+ and 8K digital presses.
Michelman has announced that DigiPrime Vision 9200, a premium label primer for HP Indigo digital presses, has received certification for in-line use on HP Indigo 6K+ and 8K Digital Presses, making it available to European print service providers following its initial announcement at Dscoop Edge Rockies earlier in 2026.
DigiPrime Vision 9200 is suitable for paper, film and metallized substrates and is formulated to reduce downtime through improved runnability, lower maintenance and easier cleanup. It offers increased water and chemical resistance without yellowing and is water-based, PFAS-free and food contact compliant.
Michelman will also present developments in digitally printed flexible packaging at Dscoop Edge Slovenia, demonstrating how print-receptive primers can be combined with barrier and functional coatings on fiber-based and mono-material film substrates to produce recyclable and compostable packaging structures with oxygen, moisture and grease barriers.
Jan Denies, Michelman's global account manager for digital printing, will present an educational session on shrink sleeve applications titled Shrink Sleeves: Not as Tough as They Seam.
'With our comprehensive primer portfolio, we help customers simplify primer selection, improve efficiency and confidently move between applications while supporting HP Indigo's vision for nonstop digital printing,' said Andy Rae, head of digital printing at Michelman.
