Paragon Inks wins 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise prize
Paragon Inks, a manufacturer of UV inks and coatings for the web packaging and product decoration markets, has won a 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are awarded to businesses for outstanding achievement in International trade, innovation and sustainable development. The Award for Enterprise Promotion (QAEP) is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to promoting and enhancing enterprise among UK entrepreneurs and companies.
Companies who apply for this award have to go through a rigorous entry protocol and short listings based on the information submitted. The process is highly competitive and out of the thousands of entries in 2014 a total of 162 awards were granted.
The combination of business philosophies based on partnerships and integrity with their staff, customers, global distributors, suppliers and co suppliers, values and strategies has created this winning formula and because of this Paragon Inks would like to thank everyone in the global team network for their contribution in creating the opportunity for the Award.
Paragon Inks chairman Gerry Merten said: ‘Paragon’s business strategy for the last five years has placed an emphasis on the continuous development of our people, processes and products to create an efficient and effective company in a very competitive marketplace.
‘Being honoured with the Queen’s Award confirms to me that we must continue our commitment for the next five challenging years.’
Shaun Bennett, Paragon Inks managing director, added: ‘I’m absolutely delighted and very proud that we have achieved such a high accolade in the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and massive thanks has to go to our staff, customers and suppliers.’
