Pulse exhibits at Labelexpo Europe 2025
Pulse showcases ink, coating, and varnish solutions that unblock changeover bottlenecks and unlock improvements in performance.

Narrow web ink specialist Pulse has confirmed that it will highlight the changes and steps flexo label printers must implement to maximize throughput and increase their profits at Labelexpo Europe 2025 on stand 3G93 under the theme ‘making print simple’.
Labelexpo Europe 2025 takes place September 16-19 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.
Pulse showcases ink, coating, and varnish solutions that unblock changeover bottlenecks and unlock improvements in performance, with sustainable print process presented at the show. These include high-strength, single-pigment formulations of PureTone inks, Bespoke ink mixing to achieve Delta E target and color match any job, on any press, at any location. The company will also focus on Monolox fixed anilox printing system for spot colors that standardizes anilox selection, reduces the burden of changeovers, and increases press utilization and reduces waste.
Pulse managing director Gary Seward commented: ‘Our industry-leading solutions are already helping printers all over the world produce the highest quality work in the most efficient and profitable way. From the UK and into Europe, all the way to Australia, high strength UV flexo inks are creating bold and striking packaging, as rough-touch and soft feel varnishes result in labels that are as good to hold as they are to look at.
‘Pulse has focused on making print simple and optimizing print efficiency for 20 years and PureTone and Monolox is and was the first of its kind in the market. Other ink companies are eventually waking up to this and only now thinking about how their inks are being used and how they slow the customers down with old fashioned strategies and basic ink design.
At the same time, pressrooms globally are directly benefitting from solutions that maximize press utilization and are gifting back hundreds of production hours each year, per press. When you take all of this into account, there are highly compelling reasons for printers to connect with the Pulse team at Labelexpo Europe 2025 and find out how we can improve performance, profitability, and above all else, throughput.’
Daily clinics at 11.30am and 2.30pm on Stand 3G93 will lay bare the reality of ignoring bottlenecks and overlooking the impact of constraints on throughput and ultimately, profitability. These 20-minute sessions will help printers gain a deeper understanding of what this means directly for their business and why they must act now to focus on what matters in production, that is Right First Time (RFT) and jobs that are delivered on time in full. Seward will share real experiences gained at his company and how the right measurements create the right behaviors and ultimately results.
Seward continued: ‘With our presence at Labelexpo Europe 2025, we are helping label printers fulfil their potential and maximize their capacity. Label printers are being squeezed from all sides, are having their margins shaved, and are being asked by customers for increasingly faster production of smaller orders.
‘Whilst it is easy to think that the way to meet these challenges is to invest in faster and wider flexo presses, digital print engines, and faster finishing lines that needed to keep up with them, the reality is that flexo printers have spare capacity that they can unlock from their existing machinery. We want to give them the keys to unlock that potential.’
‘Only by having overview of your total production process and understanding where the bottlenecks are can you begin to embrace the opportunity. We are an ink manufacturer and our solutions address the changeover bottleneck. However, the goal overall at Labelexpo Europe 2025 is to open the industry’s eyes to the possibilities, move legacy mindsets away from Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and put flexo printers on a path to profitable production and truly successful business grounded in RFT and OTIF.’
