Grafotronic, which is represented in the UK by Printech Services for service and support of all new and existing installations, recently introduced a new generation of modular finishing machines.

Bailprint Labels was founded in 1993 and provides a wide range of high quality labels and packaging to small and large clients in the UK, including the food packaging industry. It has installed a Nilpeter FA-4* 8-color press, and needed a rewinder/inspection machine capable of dealing with printed products produced on its new press, including labels, flexible packaging and board.

‘We were looking for a new very high specification machine that could handle all the materials we work with, from unsupported films to board, and I have to say that Grafotronic impressed me in trials with excellent tension control throughout the machine and ease of operation,’ commented Bailprint Labels founder and managing director John Hayward.

Gabriele Gerbella, Grafotronic international sales manager, said: ‘The new generation of fully servo driven inspection machines have been completely redesigned and updated with the latest technology in every single part of the machine. It has been a long journey but we are very proud of the result and all the positive feedback we get from our customers.’
