Greek printer buys second MPS press
Etpa Packaging in Athens, Greece has ordered an MPS EF 430 with the APC advanced package as it looks to meet an increase in demand for higher quality labels and flexible packaging.

Etpa Packaging is the largest Greek printer of labels, and a major player in the field of flexible packaging. The company prints a wide variety of labels, tags and flexible packaging including self-adhesive, piggyback, booklet, shrink sleeves, wrappers aluminium lids and blister foil. Etpa Packaging also provides in-house design services and serves leading brands throughout Greece and Europe.
In 2013, Etpa Packaging purchased its first MPS flexo press, and due to increase in demand for higher quality labels and flexible packaging has now required an additional machine.
George J. Ekonomou, commercial director of Etpa Packaging, said: ‘The choice for our second flexo press was an easy one. Our first MPS press has surpassed in performance and print quality, and with the large range of print possibilities that the EF flexo press provides, we are able to print various materials for our high-end market, such as shrink labels, wrap-around labels and high quality self-adhesive labels.
‘We compared a number of other competitive machines, but we consider MPS top of the market. In the last few years we have built a great relationship with MPS, and are very pleased with the partnership.’
