Hyden Packaging diversifies to labeling industry

Hyden Packaging, a manufacturer of dry offset presses for a quarter of century, has diversified its product portfolio to cater to the labeling industry, with the company launching its U 350 slitter rewinder inspection system at Labelexpo India 2014.

The company has partnered with Erhardt+Leimer for the camera system for the four days of the show

Hyden Packaging has already sold one machine to Coats & Pack, a label printer based in Mumbai. The machine runs at a speed of 300m/min and has features such as missing label detection, flag detection and label counting.

P J Jayakar, managing director at Hyden Packaging, said: 'This machine can be customised as per customer's requirements. It is about 40 percent more reasonably priced than most international machines.'

With five engineers dedicated to customer care, the company has a strong after sales support in the domestic market. Sudhir Samant, an industry veteran and consultant will lead sales and marketing for Hyden Packaging.
