Thailand-based label printing company Juih Tay has invested in Grafotronic HI3 slitting and rewinding machine.

(L-R) Rungthiwa Irving, responsible for Southeast Asia region in Grafotronic, and John Liao, Juih Tay owner
Founded in 1989, Juih Tay has since the beginning been investing in modern machinery and equipment. The company purchased offset, silk screen and recently - new flexo printing systems. Its owner, John Liao, was searching for a high-speed slitting and rewind machine to cover finishing processes and found that the Grafotronic HI3 would meet these needs.

Liao commented: ‘The big advantage of HI3 is its standard configuration - latest electronic web guide with ultrasonic sensor, which provides a perfect tension control, and operator friendly area for visual inspection. This generates a perfect price performance ratio.'

The Grafotronic slitting and rewinding machine was upgraded with a 100 percent camera housing system, a second adjustable splice table and pneumatic web clamps, for easy fault detection and replacement.

To service the large base of Grafotronic installations in Southeast Asia, Grafotronic SEA was established in early 2020. Operating out of Bangkok, Grafotronic SEA is managing sales and service in the area and is strengthening Grafotronic position in Asia.

Expanding its global network in the beginning of 2021, Grafotronic appointed new partners in Vietnam (Minh Duc Solutions Joint Stock Company), Indonesia (PT. Victory Blessings), and Malaysia (Colorblend (M) SDN BHD). All partners will deliver machines and technical support.
