LTI has delivered flexographic printing solutions to its customers for over two decades with its wide range of capabilities and customer service. It serves a wide range of industries from apparel, consumer products, food, beverage, health and beauty to direct promotional mailing and everything in between.

The company was looking to expand its capabilities even further with the Insignia6H, to offer folding cartons and packaging to its customer base by bringing production in-house. The company no longer needs to send clients' packaging orders to other suppliers or outsource jobs to other companies.

‘By merging our successful flexo print platform with the new innovative folding carton Insignia die-cutter, a whole new department and revenue stream has been opened with minimal investment,’ said Rhonda Baker, president of LTI.

Insignia’s functions include die-cutting, kiss-cutting, embossing, perforating, scoring, creasing, and hole punching, as standard with any Insignia model. The 6H model utilizes two flex dies for the applications listed above. Still, it has the flexibility to use a single upper cutting die with a lower solid ‘blanket’ or ‘jacket’ die on the bottom cylinder when strictly cutting is required.

In the case of LTI’s installation, the folding and gluing system was installed in a near-line configuration to handle folding cartons' final folding and gluing as the product is finished nearby on the Insignia.
