Plásticos del Segura installs Enprom eCS 70 rotary die-cutting machine

Spain’s Plásticos del Segura has installed an eCS 70 die-cutting machine from Enprom Packaging.

eCS 70 is manufactured for narrow or medium web widths, and can be dedicated to different products, such as flexible packaging, labeling, IML and sleeves. It is a compact and modular machine designed to cut using solid or rotary magnetic dies. Easy and quick change of formats is facilitated by replacing only the cutting plate on the magnetic roller. eCS 70 allows cutting a wide variety of materials with an infinite number of cutting designs, according to Enprom.

Plásticos del Segura and Enprom have worked together for this project for the development of new types of packaging, where the ultimate goal is to extend the useful life of products through laser technology. The project has been financed by the European Regional Development Fund, within the Operational Program, Technological Fund 2007-2013.

This new project also reinforces the relationship between both companies, adding to the two double turret rewinders that Plásticos del Segura has already installed. Two further machines are currently being manufactured.
