Lead by Amit Kataruka, Speclabels was founded in 2006 in Kolkata, and produces prime labels, mainly for the food and beverage, personal care and pharmaceutical markets, as well as drum labels, performance labels, security labels and promotional labels. It already operated a two-color flexo press and a six-color letterpress machine.

The Nuova Gidue MX flexo press installed at Speclabels Kolkata is an 370mm-wide, 8-color model featuring delam/relam and a turn bar attachment along with a cold foiling system.

Kataruka, who is owner and director of Speclabels, said: ‘I’ve decided to invest in Nuova Gidue technology since I’ve seen a lot of its flexo presses running and I have been always impressed and satisfied with the easiness of the operations and the good service back-up.’

Nuova Gidue is exhibiting at Labelexpo India 2014, which opened today at Pragati Maiden in New Delhi, and runs until Saturday.
