According to the Spanish converter, since the press installation, the company has been able to improve its productivity whilst adapting to market demands in terms of quality and safety certifications when using low migration inks.

‘Delivering industry-leading production speeds, the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV+LM ensures that we can complete jobs faster than ever before. With the ability to increase our throughput, we can now meet current and future customer needs in terms of quality, production time and regulations such us, EuPIA Swiss Ordinance or Nestle Guidance, with much less pressure,’ said Jaume Rafols, production director of Syseam.

‘Beyond this, we can also print short- to medium-runs at very competitive prices regardless of the number of colors used. In addition, the low migration inks do not generate any type of odor on the label that can potentially affect the accompanying product. This is especially relevant in markets including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food. As a result, we can offer very high-quality products that comply with the most current food and pharmaceutical safety regulations,’ he added.

The new Truepress Jet L350UV+LM delivers print speeds of up to 60 meters per minute. The addition of a chill roller to the press expands the versatility and flexibility of supported material including thin and heat sensitive film.

‘When selecting our new press, one of our main requirements was color consistency and print quality. The Truepress Jet L350UV+LM excels in this regard – it combines both speed, quality and color into one, making it the optimal choice for label production. In fact, it paves the way for us to enter new markets and target customers with a strong demand for colorful short run, attention-grabbing labels, variable data and versioning. We are proud to satisfy the most exigent safety regulations together with the most modern equipment in Spanish label printing industry,’ said Santiago Nebra, general manager at Syseam.
