UV Graphic sells seven presses at Labelexpo

The 370mm wide, 8-color press on display at the show is being shipped to Spec Systems in South Africa.

 

Abhay Dutta, director of UV Graphic Technologies, said: ‘This is the first time we showed this press at Labelexpo Europe and are delighted with the response it received. It is a clean room machine with a lot of value-adding features. Quick registration on the press allows less than three meters of wastage, so for printers it is a step towards being sustainable by generating much less waste. We are also continuously working towards making the press more operator-friendly and have achieved a CE certificate for it too.’ 

 

UV Graphic also sold nine plate mounters during the show. Dutta said: ‘Our video plate mounter is a huge hit. It is perfectly synchronized and integrated with our press.’ 

 

The company has installed a total of 11 Ultraflex UFO presses, of which nine have been installed in India and one in South Africa. This is the second press being shipped to South Africa. The other six presses are expected to start shipping by the end of the year.
