Multi-Color Corporation acquires Super Label

Multi-Color Corporation acquires Super Label

Multi-Color Corporation has acquired a 90 percent controlling interest in Super Enterprise Holdings Berhad (Super Label), which has operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and China.

Super Label was established in 1973 and is led by an experienced management team who will continue to run the business. Multi-Color Corporation plans to continue to focus on Super Label's core markets of home and personal care, food and beverage, and specialty consumer products. These core markets, Super Label's print technologies and supply chain are common with Multi-Color Corporation.

For the year ended March 2015, revenues at Super Label were approximately 36 million USD. Multi-Color Corporation is to acquire the minority interest and subsequently delist Super Label from the Malaysian stock exchange.

‘This acquisition gives Multi-Color Corporation an established footprint in key Southeastern Asian markets with strong organic growth potential with regional and global brand owners,’ said Nigel Vinecombe, Multi-Color Corporation president and CEO.
