Beckwith Machines upgrades cut and stack system

Ontario, Canada-based Beckwith Machines, founded over 30 years ago, has launched an updated version of its Autostack series of fan folding cut stack systems first introduced in 1991.
The new model is designed for presses up to 36 inches wide and is said to bring a number of additional benefits to the product line, including consistent automatic cut-off of stacks at a precise count; minimal set-up time through programmable menu style set-up; and built-in shear slitting for accurate and dust-free slitting to multiple streams. A wider variety of stock can be run through the full speed range of up to 1,800 folds per minute.
The streams are delivered from the vertical stacking system onto a single conveyor. Typical applications include large volume lottery tickets, air-line bag tags, theater and game tickets and short stack label and forms products.
Custom designed delivery systems are available including on-line inspection and integration into automatic packaging lines.
