Finestac nested part finisher from Spartanics

Manufacturers of gaskets and similar die cut nested parts can now fully automate extraction and stacking of finished parts with the newly released Spartanics Finestac nested part finisher. This new technology eliminates the delays and human errors of manual slug and scrap extraction and delivers neatly stacked products ready for packaging.
Paul Dirienzo, Spartanics director of engineering, said: ‘In one stroke, the Spartanics Finestac Nested Part Finisher will immediately stack parts by part number, and fully remove slugs and scrap at a proven Six Sigma success rate. Parts come out ready to go into a box for shipping. It is a significant time-saver on operations that otherwise have been done manually, often with costly operator errors of incompletely removing all scrap from finished parts.’
Features are said to include:
• Works with wide range of materials – composites, plastics, paper – any thin non-ferrous materials
• Batch count can be pre-set
• Works inline with any die-cutting system
• Eliminates need for fussy knockout systems
• Can be retrofitted to any press or attached to a new press supplied by Spartanics
• Extracts parts so that they are scratch-free in stacks 89mm tall
• Scrap material is collected on a conveyor and transported to a separate waste bin
• Color touch screen and excellent software for easy use by the operator
